Well its been a white and look whats happened. They are starting to look like cactus now compared to last time (sorry about that camera trouble). You probably cant tell but the largest of the dragon fruit cactuses are about 1cm in length not including the stalk bit.

Great news look at that.

Well time for an update and look at what's happened. All the seeds have sprouted and doing well. Some are about an inch long and some even have brothers sprouting next to them.

I will be concentrating on these rather than the cotton wool as these are doing so well.

More sprouting seeds

From the photo you can see that the shoots are doing well and also the other 7 seeds have just sprouted and are showing good signs.

Even more new growth

As you can see from the photo there is more growth. Top right of the second tray and bottom middle are the growth from before, but now there are more on the first tray, bottom, bottom and top middle have some shoots as well.

First signs from the soil

WOW first growth from the soil sown seeds. as you can see in the photo the left middle pot and the top right pot have some growth, little white specks, not much at the moment but its something.

First Sproutings

Well after a few days of nothing 5 of the 12 seeds have sprouted into the first stages of dragon trees. Not very big only about a centre meter in length and have two green leafs. These are the only leafs it will have in its live and they will be shed as it grows.

Signs of first growth

Here is the latest picture. I have circled the seeds with growth as its white on white so quite hard to see. (click on image to see a close up). Hopefully the rest will sprout soon.
